Nestled in the Shopping district of Tory Hill, (k)nave gallery is open throughout the summer months (July and August) on Fridays 11-7, Saturdays 11-5 and Sundays 12-4.  (k)nave gallery in Tory Hill, ON  showcases some of Canada’s up-and-coming and established artists.  The gallery deals with over forty contemporary artists who are masters of their craft and tempt the viewer with their unique designs.  Hand-blown glass, ceramics, jewelry, paintings and sculpture adorn the walls and pedestals in the newly renovated gallery that was once Tory Hill’s Old United Church circa 1928.
 

Glassblowing Classes:

Whether you are a beginner, advanced or just want a taster, Artech Glassblowing Studios teaches all. We feature weekend glassblowing classes of a maximum four students. Two days of learning the tradition of glassblowing, the tools, the technique, the finesse and an emphasis on safety and ergonomics and lots of fun, you will walk away from the class with 10-14 pieces that you handcrafted from molten glass. Or stop by for a quick taste and make a coloured glassball or drinking glass. It only takes ½ hour with the help of a skilled gaffer (glassblower). Mobile Glass Studio:
Literally able to take the show on the road, our Mobile Glass Studio can be taken just about anywhere. With a sixty-pound glass furnace that uses propane, the studio is perfect for weekend events, parties, educational tours, festivals.
