Artech Glassblowing Studios is a traditional glassblowing studio in the Haliburton Highlands, nestled in the rocks and woods of ghost town Tory Hill, Ontario in an old United Church. We strive to design work that is inspired by our native Canadian surroundings for the urban consumer. We produce great handblown glass tableware, custom glass pieces, corporate awards and one of a kind pieces. We are known for our recycled beer glasses, a repurposed beer bottle that still holds a full beer!
Terry Craig and Jennifer Wanless-Craig are the designers, makers, owners and (honestly) the chief bottle washers.

Beer Glasses
As glassblowers we strive to design work that is environmentally conscious. We reuse bottles destined for landfill and turn them into unique drinking glasses and decanters.
They are heated and reformed at 2150°F using traditional glassblowing techniques. The original labels, either enameled or embossed, stay intact during the heating process. Nothing has been added or removed from these bottles, making each beer glass one-of-a-kind, while still holding a full beer!
Each piece is made at our glass studio in the Haliburton Highlands, nestled between the rocks and woods of ghost town Tory Hill in the old church.
